Their goaltending situation isn’t too shabby either and about the only thing standing in their way right now is history. It has been 11 years since a club has repeated as champions, but the good news for Detroit fans is that the last team that repeated was the Wings. There’s really nothing standing in their way right now and they’re a solid bet to repeat as Stanley Cup champions.
