Wednesday's NHL Odds


(TheSpread) – The NHL Schedule for Wednesday features just four games. Here is a look at the odds and over/under totals for all four games taking place.

The featured game of the day has the Washington Capitals hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at, the Penguins are the slight favorite on the road, as they have odds of -115 to win, while the Capitals have a money line of -105 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Washington is 12-8-1 overall and 8-3 at home while Pittsburgh is 13-8 overall and 4-5 on the road. Pittsburgh has won four straight over Washington and the two have hit the over in three of their last four meetings.

The other featured game of the day has the Ottawa Senators hosting the Minnesota Wild at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, this game is even, as each team has been given odds of -110 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Ottawa is 8-9-4 overall and 4-5-2 at home while Minnesota is 13-5-4 overall and 3-4-2 on the road. Ottawa has won six straight meetings with Minnesota and the two have hit the over in five of their last seven meetings.
