Blackhawks vs. Canucks Prediction
The Chicago Blackhawks are showing signs their season will end better than in 2017-18 when they missed the playoffs. Is Chicago going to head to the road tonight in the only NHL game on the schedule and pick up a win as favorites at the Vancouver Canucks?

Blackhawks fall in OT
Chicago lost 2-1 in overtime Sunday at home versus Edmonton as the game-winning goal was scored by the Oilers 53 seconds into overtime. Brent Seabrook gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at the 8:58 mark of the first period. Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith assisted on the score. Edmonton tied it up with 1:34 left in the first period and neither team scored thereafter until overtime. Cam Ward made 24 saves on 26 shots to take the loss.
Canucks put up five goals in win
Vancouver earned a 5-2 triumph at home Monday night over the Wild. Elias Pettersson scored two goals to help lead the Canucks offense. Markus Granlund, Jake Virtanen and Ben Hutton all scored a goal in the win. Jacob Markstrom registered 37 saves on 39 shots to record the win in net. Vancouver improved to 7-6-0 on the season with the victory.
NHL Betting Trends
Chicago
The Blackhawks are 0-4 in the last four meetings. Chicago is 7-2 in its last nine games played on two days of rest.
Vancouver
The under is 4-1 in the last five Canucks games following a win. The over is 6-0-1 in the last seven meetings.
Prediction:
Chicago lost a tough one at home last game, but gets to face a young and vulnerable Vancouver team here. I like the veteran presences on the Blackhawks to help them turn it around and get back to the winner’s circle. Corey Crawford should be back in goal for this one, which makes it easier to want to bet on Chicago.
