According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Avalanche is favored at home, as they have odds of -140 to win, while the Red Wings have a money line of +120 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Colorado is 6-0 overall and 3-0 at home while Detroit is 5-2 overall and 2-1 on the road. Detroit has won its last three against Colorado and the two have hit the under in their last three.

The other featured game of the day has the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the St. Louis Blues at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, Chicago is favored at home, as the Blackhawks have a money line of -145 to win, while the Blues have been given a money line of +125 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Chicago is 4-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 at home while St. Louis is 4-1 overall and playing in its first road game. St. Louis has won its last two over Chicago, including a game back on Oct. 9.
