The featured game of the day has the Calgary Flames hosting the Vancouver Canucks at 8PMET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at, the Canucks are favored on the road, as they have odds of -150 to win, while the Flames have been given a money line of +130. Vancouver is 1-1 on the season and 0-1 on the road while Calgary is 1-0-1 overall and playing in its home opener. Vancouver has won four of its last five against Calgary and the two have hit the over in three of their last four meetings.

The other featured game of the day has the Winnipeg Jets hosting the Anaheim Ducks at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Jets are favored at home, as they have odds of -135 to win, while the Ducks have a money line of +115 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Anaheim is 1-1 overall and 1-1 on the road while Winnipeg is 2-0 overall and 1-0 at home. Winnipeg has won four straight over Anaheim and the two have hit the over in three of their last four meetings.
