Maple Leafs add defenseman
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Tuesday that they have agreed on a two-way contract with defenseman Andrew Campbell.
Campbell previous agreed to an AHL contract with the Toronto Marlies in July, according to the Maple Leafs’ official website. The 27-year-old appeared in 33 regular season games last season with the Arizona Coyotes and registered one assist and 10 penalty minutes.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Maple Leafs are currently 200/1 long shots to win the 2016 Stanley Cup. Only the aforementioned Coyotes have worst odds among NHL teams, as Arizona is a 500/1 long shot.
