According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Crosby is a 3/1 favorite to win the 2014 Hart Memorial Trophy, while the Capitals' Alexander Ovechkin is 6/1. Steven Stamkos of the Lightning is 8/1, while John Tavares of the Islanders, Evgeni Malkin of the Penguins, and Henrik Lundqvist of the Rangers are also 12/1, respectively.

Continuing with the odds, Claude Giroux of the Flyers and Henrik Sedin of the Canucks are 16/1, respectively, while Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews of the Blackhawks are 25/1, respectively. Eric Staal (Hurricanes), Taylor Hall (Oilers), Phil Kessel (Maple Leafs), Daniel Sedin (Cancuks), Ryan Getzlaf (Ducks), Anze Kopitar (Kings), Pavel Datsyuk (Red Wings), Jonathan Quick (Kings) and Nicklas Backstrom (Capitals) are all 30/1, respectively. Martin St. Louis (Lightning) is also 35/1.

The long shots include Erik Karlsson (Senators) and Tuukka Rask (Bruins) are 40/1, respectively, while P.K. Subban (Canadiens), Pekka Rinne (Predators), Sergei Bobrovsky (Blue Jackets) and Carey Price (Canadiens) are 50/1, respectively. Zdeno Chara (Bruins), Antti Niemi (Sharks) and Jimmy Howard (Red Wings) are all 75/1 long shots, respectively.
