2013 NHL Player Prop Odds
(The Spread) - How many total goals and points will players like Daniel Briere and David Clarkson compile next season? Let's check out the odds.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Briere has an over/under total of 15.5 for the number of goals he'll score in 2013-14. The former Flyer and newest Canadien also has an over/under of 39.5 for number of points he'll rack up next season.
On July 5th Clarkson signed a seven-year, $36.75 million contract with the Maple Leafs after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Devils in August of 2005. Clarkson has an over/under of 23.5 for number of goals in 2013-14 and an o/u of 38.5 for total points for next season.
Meanwhile, Bobby Ryan has an over/under of 25.5 for number of goals he'll score next season and an o/u of 57.5 for total points. On the same day that Clarkson inked his deal with the Leafs, Ryan was acquired by the Senators in exchange for Jakob Silfverberg, Stefan Noesen and a first-round pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Continuing with the NHL player prop odds, Jarome Iginla has an over/under of 27.5 for total of goals scored in the 2013-14 regular season and an o/u of 61.5 for total points. Last week the 36-year-old veteran signed a one-year deal with the Bruins worth $1.8 million in base salary.
Finally, the over/under for number of goals that Daniel Alfredsson will score this season is 19.5, while the over/under for number of total points are 48.5. The long-time Ottawa captain recently signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
