Tampa Bay Lightning DFS SPIN
Andrei Vasilevskiy turned aside all 21 shots in the Lightning’s 8-0 win over the New York Islanders. There was not a lot for Vasilevskiy to do as the Lightning dominated from start to finish. The win gives Vasilevskiy an 11-5 record with a 2.05 GAA and a .936 save percentage. Vasilevskiy is 12-0 in the last two playoff seasons when the Lightning are coming off a loss as well as going 5-0 this season.
New York Islanders DFS Spin
Semyon Varlamov gave up three goals on 16 shots in 15:27 before he was pulled in favor of Ilya Sorokin. Varlamov could not be blamed for any of the goals in the first period as bad bounces plagued him early and often. Ilya Sorokin finished up and gave up five goals on 25 shots. Varlamov took the loss, his sixth of the playoffs as he saw his record go to 6-6. Look for the Islanders to go back to Varlamov Wednesday for Game 6.
