Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals features the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the Boston Bruins at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Blackhawks are favored to win Game 2, as they have been given odds of -150 to win, while the Bruins have a money line of +130 for the game. The over/under total on goals has been set at 5.

The Blackhawks won Game 1 in triple overtime, 4-3, in a very hard-fought contest. The two teams combined for 117 total shots on goal. Milan Lucic led the Bruins in the losing effort, as he had two goals and one assist on four shots. For Game 2, Lucic has been given over/under odds of 2.5 shots on goal. Lucic has 33 shots in the postseason, which is an average of 1.94 shots per game. Lucic has attempted at least three shots on goal in five playoff games this year.

Chicago had an aggressive playoff effort from Marian Hossa, who attempted 10 shots in the triple-overtime win. Hossa didn’t score, but did end up with an assist for his play. For Game 2, Hossa has been given over/under odds of 3 shots on goal. Hossa has 58 shots through 18 playoff games, an average of 3.22 per game. Those numbers are skewed by the triple-overtime effort, but he still is averaging 3.05 shots per game if you count Game 1 as two games, since they played six period of hockey. Hossa has recorded at least three shots on goal in 13 of Chicago’s 18 playoff games.
