Chicago pulled out Game 2, 2-1, despite having just 19 shots on goal. Tampa Bay did all it could to help Andrei Vasilevskiy, who made his first-career start in net for the Lightning. He stopped 17 shots, but allowed the game winner to Brandon Saad six minutes into the third period. Jonathan Toews had the other Chicago goal in the win while Alex Killorn scored the lone Tampa Bay goal.
