About 1,000 fans filled the concourse at the TD Garden in their black and gold shirts, waving signs and chanting ``We want the Cup!''

The Bruins walked by after practice in their suits and ties, giving fans high-fives and posing for pictures. Players told reporters afterward that they aren't expecting such a warm welcome in Chicago.

The Bruins will play the Blackhawks in the best-of-seven Stanley Cup finals for a chance at their second NHL title in three years. The series begins Wednesday night. Game 3 is in Boston next Monday.

Going back to the first round, Boston has won nine of its last 10 playoff games.
