Stanley Cup Final Game 2 Odds
TAMPA, FL (TheSpread) – After a two-day break, the Stanley Cup Final returns to action tonight when the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Chicago Blackhawks at 7:15PM ET in Game 2 of the series.
Tampa Bay is 62-33-8 on the season and 37-14-1 at home while Chicago is 61-32-7 overall and 30-19-2 on the road. Chicago took a 1-0 lead in the series with a 2-1 win in Game 1 back on Wednesday night. The Blackhawks have now won two of three meetings this season with the Lightning and the two have combined to hit the under in all three encounters.
According to oddsmakers at the online sports book GT Bets, Tampa Bay is favored at home in this game, as the Lightning are getting odds of -120 to win, while the Blackhawks are getting a money line of +110 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
The Blackhawks had another of their exciting comeback wins on Wednesday night. Tampa Bay jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first five minutes of play when Alex Killorn scored. The Blackhawks would wait until 6:30 remained in regulation to get the equalizer as Teuvo Tervainen found the net. The game-winner came from Antoine Vermette with just under five minutes to play. Teravainen got the assist on the winner to go with his goal.
