(TheSpread) – The 2012 Stanley Cup Finals are set to get underway tonight. Here is a look at the prop odds that are available for Game 1 of the series.

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals feature the New Jersey Devils hosting the Los Angeles Kings at 8:05PM ET (View Matchup). The Kings come into the game as a slight favorite to win, but here is a look at some odds for individual players from each team.

During the regular season, Anze Kopitar was the points leader for the Kings, as he had 25 goals and 51 assists on the year. For Game 1 of this series, Kopitar has been given over/under odds of 4 for points+shots on goal. Kopitals has 15 points and 48 shots on goal in 14 playoff games. That works out to an average of 4.5 shots on goal+points per contest. Kopitar has scored at least one point in seven of the Kings’ last eight games and he has posted at least two shots in all but one playoff game. In the two meetings with the Devils this season, he had just one point and four total shots on goal in two games.

The leader for the Devils this season was Ilya Kovalchuk, who had 37 goals for New Jersey. He also had 46 assists on the year. He has been given over/under odds of 4.5 points+shots on goal for the game. In the playoffs, Kovalchuk has 18 points and 58 shots over 17 games, which is an average of 4.47 per game. Kovalchuk has had at least one point in the last three games and has posted at least five shots on goal in three of the last four games for the Devils. In two games against the Kings in the regular season, he had a total of 7 shots on goal, but didn’t score a single point.
