According to online sports book GT Bets, New York is the favorite in today’s game, as the Rangers are getting odds of -135 to win, while the Lightning is being given a money line of +125. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
New York defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in five games to start the playoffs and then needed seven games to beat the Washington Capitals. The Tampa Bay Lightning started the postseason with a seven-game series against the Detroit Red Wings before disposing of the Montreal Canadiens in six games. Tampa Bay is averaging 3.08 goals per game this season while allowing 2.46. New York is averaging 2.89 goals per game and allowing just 2.20.
