Thursday's NHL Playoff Odds


(TheSpread) – The NHL Playoffs feature a pair of second round games on Thursday. Here is a look at the odds and over/under totals for each contest.

The featured game of the day is a Game 2 in the Western Conference with the Los Angeles Kings hosting the San Jose Sharks at 10PM ET (View Matchup) with Los Angeles leading the series, 1-0. According to oddsmakers at, the Kings are the favorite to win Game 2, as they have odds of -150 to win, while the Sharks have been given a money line of +130. The over/under total for this game has been set at 4.5 goals. Los Angeles is 32-17-6 overall and 23-4-1 at home while San Jose is 29-17-7 overall and 10-15-2 on the road. The Kings have won three of their last four against San Jose and the home team has won nine of the last 10 in this series.

The other game on the day is a Game 1 in the Eastern Conference with the fourth-seeded Boston Bruins hosting the sixth-seeded New York Rangers at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Bruins are the favorite to win Game 1, as they have odds of -135 to win, while the Rangers have been given a money line of +115 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals. Boston is 32-17-6 on the season and 18-7-3 at home while New York is 30-19-6 overall and 11-13-4 on the road. These two met three times during the season, with the Rangers winning two of the three meetings. New York has actually won seven of its last nine against Boston.
