NHL West Updated Odds


(TheSpread) – The NHL Western Conference is down to four teams remaining in the playoffs. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the West.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI the Chicago Blackhawks are favored to win the West, as they have 7/4 odds. Other short odds to win are the Anaheim Ducks (12/5), the Los Angeles Kings (5/2) and the Minnesota Wild (9/2).

Chicago defeated the favorite in the West in the first round, beating St. Louis in six games after falling behind 0-2 in the series. The Blackhawks will face Minnesota in the second round.

The Ducks advanced to the second round of the playoffs by beating the Dallas Stars in six games. The Ducks will meet the Kings this round.

The Kings are coming off a miraculous series win over the Sharks. Los Angeles fell down 3-0 in the series, but managed to win four straight to take the series.

The Wild upset the Colorado Avalanche in the opening round in seven games. The home team had won all of the games in the series until Game 7, which Minnesota won in OT.
