Updated Stanley Cup Odds


(TheSpread) – The NHL Playoffs are down to the conference semifinals. Here is an updated look at the odds to win this year’s Stanley Cup.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Boston Bruins are favored entering this round, as they have 5/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are the Chicago Blackhawks (15/4), the Pittsburgh Penguins (6/1) and the Anaheim Ducks (13/2).

The Bruins disposed of the Detroit Red Wings in the opening round of the playoffs in five games. Boston will face Montreal in the second round.

Chicago pulled off a mild upset in the first round, beating St. Louis in six games after falling behind 0-2 in the series. The Blackhawks will face the Minnesota Wild in the second round.

Pittsburgh defeated Columbus in six games to reach the second round of the playoffs. The Penguins are now set to face the New York Rangers.

Anaheim beat the Dallas Stars in six games in the opening round and will now face the Los Angeles Kings in the second round.
