Following a 3-0 loss in Game 3 where the Blues looked lifeless, St. Louis came out on fire in Game 4. The Blues posted three goals in each of the first two periods and held Minnesota to just 18 shots for the game. Vladimir Tarashenko had two goals to lead St. Louis in the win while Kevin Shattenkirk had three assists. Jake Allen finished with 17 saves in net for St. Louis.
