Predators vs. Blackhawks Gm 4 Odds
CHICAGO, IL (TheSpread) – The Chicago Blackhawks hope to move one step closer to a series victory today when they host the Nashville Predators in Game 4 at 9:30PM ET.
Nashville is now 48-27-10 on the season and 19-17-6 on the road. Chicago is now 50-29-6 on the season and 25-12-5 at home. Chicago picked up a win at home in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead. The Blackhawks have now won four of their last five against the Predators and the home team has won six of the last eight meetings between these two. Chicago and Nashville have combined to hit the over in four straight meetings.
According to oddsmakers at the online sports book GT Bets, Chicago is favored at home in this contest, as the Blackhawks are getting odds of -165 to win, while the Predators are getting a money line of +145 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals.
The Blackhawks picked up a 4-2 victory in Game 3 thanks to a 3-goal second period. The Blackhawks were actually outshot 37-30 in the game, but the team got another strong performance in net by former backup goalie, Scott Darling. Darling had 35 saves in the win on Sunday. Marian Hossa had a pair of assists to lead Chicago in the win while Nashville was led by Mattias Ekholm and Mike Ribeiro, who each scored a goal.
