Game 1 of this series provided plenty of storylines, as the Predators took a 3-0 lead after one period, only to see that disappear in the second, with Chicago scoring three goals of its own. The two then went two whole periods without a goal before Duncan Keith found the net for the game-winner in double OT. After allowing three goals in the first, Chicago pulled goalie Corey Crawford and inserted Scott Darling, who went on to make 42 saves while leading Chicago to the win.
