These two teams met four times during the season, with Tampa Bay winning three of the four games. Three of the four games were also decided by multiple goals, with the home team winning each of those three contests. Tamp Bay scored a total of 12 goals in the four meetings while Detroit had 9. The Lightning have now won seven of their last nine against Detroit, dating back to 2013.
