Bet Tonight’s Flyers vs. Penguins Game
Matt Murray is expected to get the start for the Penguins today after he picked a victory in a 24-save shutout on Saturday in New York against the Islanders. Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to be out for an unspecified time due to a concussion, so Murray will get a jumpstart on his bright career over Pittsburgh’s final regular season games.

Murray will be opposed by the red-hot Steve Mason, who is expected to start today after he made 33 saves in the Flyers’ 3-2 win over the Senators on Saturday. It was his 13th start in his last 14 games and he’s been excellent during that span. He’s now 4-1-1 in his last six outings and owns a 2.48 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage on the season.
Both of these teams are red-hot but the Penguins clinched a playoff berth on Saturday and could suffer a natural letdown today, even against their in-state rivals. Philadelphia is also 5-1 in its last six games in Pittsburgh and 8-2 in its last 10 games overall versus the Flyers.
