Sharks vs. Predators Prediction
The suddenly slumping Nashville Predators will look to put an end to their current three-game skid when they host the San Jose Sharks at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Predators are -130 money line favorites to beat the Sharks, who have odds of +110 to pull off the upset. The total, meanwhile, currently sits at 5.5 goals.
Bet Tonight’s Sharks vs. Predators Game
Pekka Rinne was pulled for the second time in his past three games on Thursday night after giving up four goals on 29 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Penguins. He lasted just two periods and has provided garbage play for Nashville in his last three starts. He’s still 32-21-10 this season with a 2.48 goals against average and owns a .908 save percentage. But Rinne could be on a short leash again tonight.
Martin Jones will likely draw the start tonight despite losing 4-2 on Thursday night to the Canucks. He managed to turn away just 22 of 25 shots after the Sharks rallied from an early 2-0 deficit. He wasn’t at the top of his game and dropped to 36-22-4 on the year.
