According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Rangers are favored at home, as they have odds of -140 to win, while the Avalanche has a money line of +120 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. New York is 30-23-3 overall and 13-13-3 at home while Colorado is 35-14-5 overall and 16-7-2 on the road. Colorado has won three straight over New York and eight of the last 10 in the series. These two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings.

The other featured game of the day has the Minnesota Wild hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Wild are the favorites at home, as they have odds of -120 to win, while the Lightning has a money line of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals. Minnesota is 29-21-7 overall and 19-7-2 at home while Tampa Bay is 32-18-5 overall and 16-12-2 on the road. These two have split their last six meetings, alternating wins and losses. Tampa won the last meeting back on Oct. 17. These two have also hit the under in four straight meetings.
