Panthers vs. Hawks Tuesday Prediction
After knocking off the Wild 5-4 on Monday night, the Panthers will play the second game of a back-and-back when they visit the Blackhawks at 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Will tonight’s game rival last night’s Florida game and turn into a high-scoring affair for bettors?

Florida Panthers Fantasy Spin
Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 29 of 33 shots in Monday’s 5-4 win over the Minnesota Wild. Things weren’t looking good for Bobrovsky and the Panthers late, but they managed to tie the game, 4-4, with just over four minutes remaining in regulation and they got the game-winning goal from Noel Acciari with just over six seconds remaining. Bobrovsky has now won each of his last three decisions. He owns an 18-12-4 record with a 3.25 goals-against-average and a .897 save percentage this season.
Chicago Blackhawks Fantasy Spin
Robin Lehner let in just two goals on 38 shots in Sunday’s 5-2 home win against the Winnipeg Jets. Lehner won for the third consecutive start, and sixth time in the past seven, as he improved to 15-7-4 with a 2.81 goals-against average and .924 save percentage across his 28 appearances this season. Lehner has allowed three or fewer goals in eight of his past nine outings. The Blackhawks are back in action Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers at United Center.
Betting Trends
Florida
The Panthers are 1-7 in their last eight games in Chicago and are 7-19-2 in their last 28 games versus the Blackhawks.
Chicago
The favorite is 12-3 in the last 15 meetings between these two teams and the Blackhawks are 5-0 in their last five games overall.
Our Prediction
The under is 11-4-2 in the last 17 meetings between these two teams but I’m going to buck that trend and take the over. In Florida’s last six games, the over is 5-1. In the Panthers’ last 15 games as an underdog, the over is 10-4-1. The over is also 39-18-5 in the Panthers’ last 62 games versus Western Conference opponents and is 36-16-2 in their last 54 games coming off a win. On the other side, the over is 5-2 in the Blackhawks’ last seven home games, is 5-1 in their last six home games as a favorite and is 11-5-2 in their last 18 games when their opponent scores five goals or more in their previous contest.
Tuesday NHL Prediction: Panthers/Blackhawks OVER 6.5
