Penguins, Blackhawks with even odds
PITTSBURGH, PA (TheSpread) – As the NHL gets set for the All-Star break, two of the top teams meet tonight when the Pittsburgh Penguins host the Chicago Blackhawks at 8PM ET.
Pittsburgh is 26-12-7 on the season and 16-7-2 at home while Chicago is 29-15-2 overall and 13-8-1 on the road. The home team has won four straight between these two, but this will be the first meeting this season. These two have hit the under in four of their last five encounters as well.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, this game is even, as each team has been given a money line of -110 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals.
Chicago has won just two of its last five and they are just 2-2 in their last four games. Chicago has hit the over in five of its last six. Pittsburgh has dropped three straight games coming into tonight, with one of the three games coming at home. The Pens are just 1-3 in their last four at home while hitting the over in three of their last four games overall.
