Sabres vs. Stars Thursday Prediction
The Stars are heavy favorites to beat the Sabres tonight after rallying to beat the Avalanche in Colorado. That said, is there more value for bettors when it comes to the total for tonight’s game?

Buffalo Sabres Fantasy Spin
Linus Ullmark allowed just two goals on 26 shots in Tuesday’s 4-2 home win against the Vegas Golden Knights. Ullmark stood on his head in this one, allowing only an early even-strength goal to Tomas Nosek and a third-period power-play marker to Reilly Smith. He improves to 15-12-3 and should continue to see frequent starts, as backup Carter Hutton hasn’t won since the end of October. The Sabres are back in action Thursday in Dallas, and it’s hard to imagine HC Ralph Krueger going away from Ullmark.
Dallas Stars Fantasy Spin
Ben Bishop allowed two goals on 43 shots in Tuesday’s 3-2 overtime win against the Colorado Avalanche. Bishop allowed a pair of goals to Nikita Zadorov and Gabriel Landeskog within six-plus minutes in the first period. After that he settled down, receiving a power-play goal from Denis Gurianov in the second, an equalizer from Jason Dickinson late in the third and the eventual winner from Esa Lindell in the extra session. The win helped the Stars sweep the regular-season series from the Avalanche.
