INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Peyton Manning and his teammates will listen to coach Jim Caldwell’s decision and make it work.
It’s not even up for debate.
The undefeated Colts didn’t get to 14-0 or 23 consecutive regular-season wins by creating chaos, and they’re not going to change now that they’re on top of the NFL world.
Instead, the Colts will abide by an old philosophy of putting the team goal of winning a Super Bowl ahead of any individual goals – even if that costs players personal goals, postseason awards or money from not meeting incentive bonuses.
Or a chance for a rare perfect season.
