MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – The Minnesota Vikings have dropped two straight games and have no chance at the playoffs as they head into the final week of the season.
To feel better about their situation, they need to look no further than Teddy Bridgewater. The rookie quarterback has given the team hope that their search for a long-term answer at the game’s most important position is finally over.
Bridgewater has completed more than 70 percent of his passes in four straight games. He has topped 300 yards in two of those games and thrown seven touchdowns and four interceptions in that stretch.
Bridgewater says he has focused on improving his accuracy as the season has gone on.
The Vikings (6-9) host the Bears (5-10) on Sunday in the season finale.
