NEW ORLEANS (AP) – Starting Atlanta defensive backs William Moore, Josh Wilson and Dwight Lowery were hurt in a span of four plays late in the third quarter of Sunday’s pivotal NFC South game against New Orleans.
The Falcons announced that Moore hurt his shoulder and was questionable to return. That injury occurred during a short run by Khiry Robinson.
One play later, a short pass to Nick Toon, Falcons cornerback Josh Wilson went down. He was stretching his left hamstring before walking gingerly to the sideline and was listed as questionable.
Two plays after that, on a short pass to Khiry Robinson, safety Dwight Lowery required attention from trainers, who looked at his left shoulder. However, he returned early in the fourth quarter.
During the first half, Atlanta running back Steven Jackson and New Orleans running back Pierre Thomas both were injured and have been ruled out for the second half.
