LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell left Monday night’s game against the New York Giants with a sprained shoulder.
Campbell was hurt when he was sacked from behind by Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora with 45 seconds remaining in the first half.
Campbell was 2 for 7 for 10 yards when he left the game. The Redskins trailed 24-0 and had only one first down.
Campbell left immediately for the locker room and received a big ovation. He was replaced by Todd Collins, whose first pass was a 46-yard completion to Santana Moss.
