EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -The New York Giants’ running game was bolstered by the return of halfback Brandon Jacobs for their Sunday night game with the Carolina Panthers.
Jacobs missed the last six quarters with a left knee injury. He leads the team with 1,002 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
Giants wide receiver Sinorice Moss was inactive with a calf injury.
The Panthers could have a harder time slowing the Giants ground attack without defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu, out with an ankle injury. Darwin Walker started in his place.
