FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -The New England Patriots re-signed defensive lineman Rashad Moore and released defensive backs Rashad Baker and Eddie Jackson on Wednesday.
The Patriots had five defensive linemen in last week’s win over the New York Jets after Mike Wright went on injured reserve a few days before the game.
Moore, who has played for the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Jets, signed as a free agent with the Patriots on June 8, but was released Sept. 1 after playing all four exhibition games.
Baker, a backup safety and special teams player, had 14 tackles in seven games for the Patriots. Jackson, a backup cornerback, had one defensive tackle and four special teams tackles in three games.
