EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -The New York Giants struggling secondary now has another question mark.
Aaron Ross sat out Friday’s practice along with fellow cornerback Corey Webster, offensive tackle Kareem McKenzie and backup running back Ahmad Bradshaw.
There was no immediate word on why Ross was sidelined. He started at safety on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but with Webster nursing a sprained right knee it was thought Ross might return to cornerback on Monday night against the Washington Redskins.
Ross, who started his first two seasons at cornerback, missed the first nine games this season with a pulled left hamstring. He complained of a sore back after the 45-38 loss to the Eagles.
