NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch watched practice Thursday, two days after having surgery on his groin, and said he feels better than he did a week ago.
“I’m confident that it’s fixed now,” Vanden Bosch said.
Vanden Bosch will miss the final three games of the regular season because of an injury sustained Dec. 7 against Cleveland. He already had missed three games with another groin injury that limited him throughout October and November. Vanden Bosch said he aggravated some abdominal muscles compensating for the first injury and needed it repaired.
He expects to be back when the Titans host a divisional playoff on either Jan. 10 or 11.
‘s full steam ahead just trying to help this team win in the playoffs,” Vanden Bosch said.
Vanden Bosch had 12 1/2 sacks last season but 4 1/2 this season.
