FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – Robert Kraft is used to seeing his New England Patriots in playoff games. Watching them lose one at home was a first.
Last season’s 33-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens still haunts the Patriots owner. But on Sunday, when they play the Green Bay Packers, they can clinch another playoff game at Gillette Stadium.
Kraft said Tuesday night he hasn’t forgotten that lopsided loss. Last Sunday, the Patriots clinched their 12th playoff berth in his 17 seasons as owner with a 36-7 win over the Chicago Bears. The Patriots only postseason loss in 12 games at home in that span was last season’s game against Baltimore.
Kraft was interviewed during a holiday party at the stadium for more than 250 children from Salvation Army and community centers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
