METAIRIE, La. (AP) -The unbeaten Saints say they see no reason to fuss about how close their margins of victory have been lately, as long as they keep pulling out wins.
Since their nationally televised dismantling of the New England Patriots on Nov. 30, the Saints have narrowly escaped with three-point victories over struggling teams in each of their last two contests.
Saints coach Sean Payton says the key is how his team responds when the game is on the line. In their last two games at Washington and at Atlanta, the Saints came up with either big plays on offense or turnovers on defense to help keep their undefeated streak alive.
New Orleans is now 13-0 for the first time in franchise history and returns home to face Dallas on Saturday night.
