RENTON, Wash. (AP) -Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is sitting out most of practice with a sore throwing shoulder but is probable to start for the Seahawks on Sunday at Houston.
Coach Jim Mora said Wednesday his battered, three-time Pro Bowl passer is sore from “wear and tear” and that there’s nothing structurally wrong with his right shoulder.
The 34-year-old Hasselbeck was hit by San Francisco’s Dashon Goldson at the end of a third-down scramble in the third quarter Sunday.
Hasselbeck was on his back for a tense moment with a doctor and trainer over him. He finished Seattle’s win and was 13 for 14 passing after the injury.
