RENTON, Wash. (AP) -Matt Hasselbeck ‘s sore shoulder may cost him some practice time but not the Seahawks’ game Sunday at Houston.
Seattle coach Jim Mora said Monday his three-time Pro Bowl quarterback is OK after a hit on a scramble the day before. It left him on the turf for a moment during the Seahawks’ win over San Francisco.
Hasselbeck’s shoulder had been sore for weeks before the hit. He finished the game and led the winning drive in the final seconds before getting extensive ice treatment afterward.
The Seahawks have won two straight and still have intact their altered goal of a winning season.
Mora says he isn’t even thinking about Seattle’s almost nonexistent playoff hopes.
