RENTON, Wash. (AP) -Seahawks center Chris Spencer will miss the rest of the season with a back injury.
Spencer became the 11th Seattle player to land on injured reserve this season. Converted guard Steve Vallos will start on Sunday against New England.
Coach Mike Holmgren said Wednesday that Spencer has a disk problem in his back. He also said starting left guard Mike Wahle may end up on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
