Vikings kicker Doug Brien missed field goal and two extra points and lost his job the next day. … Ryan Fitzpatrick needs one more TD pass to become fifth Bills QB to reach 20 for season, first since Drew Bledsoe in 2004. … Bills have lost four of last six games by three points each, three in overtime, showing progress on both sides of ball following 0-8 start. … Bills are last in league in run defense, allowing 200 yards or more five times this season. … Vikings All-Pro RB Adrian Peterson recovering from sprained ankle and status is uncertain.
