PITTSBURGH (AP) The Pittsburgh Steelers head into December searching for consistency.
Pittsburgh saw its grasp on the top spot in the AFC wild card race vanish in a 39-30 loss to Seattle on Sunday.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger passed for 456 yards but also threw a pair of interceptions before leaving in the fourth quarter with a possible concussion. There was no immediate update on Roethlisberger’s condition and his status for next week’s game against Indianapolis is unknown.
Guard Ramon Foster says Pittsburgh needs to cut down on the turnovers and regain its ability to run the ball if it wants to make the playoffs. The Steelers have just 119 yards rushing combined in their last two games.
