DAVIE, Fla. (AP) Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey’s right foot injury is less serious than first feared, and his status is day to day, interim coach Dan Campbell says.
Pouncey was forced out of Sunday’s loss to the New York Jets and was in a boot after the game. If he’s unable to play this week against Baltimore, rookie Jamil Douglas is expected to start at center for the first time.
Receiver Rishard Matthews, who suffered cracked ribs against the Jets, is less likely to be available Sunday, Campbell said.
Defensive tackles Earl Mitchell and C.J. Mosley suffered calf injuries, and their status is day to day, Campbell said.
