ASHBURN, Va. (AP) – The Washington Redskins offense plays a lot a better when receiver Pierre Garcon’s toe isn’t hurting as much.
Garcon has been dealing with a torn toe ligament in his right foot since Week 1, but he felt good enough to have a big game in the Thanksgiving win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Garcon has played in only five games this year, but he now says he thinks he’ll be able to play through the pain for the rest of the season, including Monday night’s NFC showdown against the New York Giants.
Garcon says he’s been dealing with the pain for so long that he’s become numb to it.
