NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Tennessee defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth made it through most of practice Wednesday for the first time since hurting his right hamstring on Nov. 4.
``We backed him down a little bit, but he's improving,'' Titans coach Jeff Fisher said of Haynesworth. ``The big thing for him is how he's going to feel tomorrow.''
Haynesworth has missed three straight games, all losses by Tennessee. The tackle said he still can feel the hamstring problem and has been surprised at how much the injury has lingered.
``We're getting better, definitely getting better. It's just a day-by-day thing. Hopefully, tomorrow will be even better, and I can go out there and practice again and not be sore,'' he said.
The Titans have been cautious, refusing to rush Haynesworth back at the risk of losing him in the final weeks of the season.
Safety Chris Hope watched practice following a batch of tests after his left arm and left leg twitched as he lay on his stomach at the end of a play in the first quarter of last week's 35-6 loss to Cincinnati.
``The tests were positive, but he'll be day to day,'' Fisher said.
Defensive end Travis LaBoy, who has missed two of the last three games, was limited as he returns from a concussion.
