PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Lance Moore is ready to see some familiar faces on Sunday when New Orleans visits Heinz Field.
Moore spent nine seasons with the Saints and is the franchise’s fifth all-time leading receiver. New Orleans cut him in March and the Steelers quickly signed him to a two-year deal.
Moore hasn’t quite put up the numbers he produced with the Saints. He has just 11 receptions and two touchdowns but has been praised by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and coach Mike Tomlin for his versatility.
Moore says he’s still good friends with several players on the Saints but has no problem giving the Pittsburgh coaching staff as much insight as he can provide.
