The St. Louis Rams could be without Marc Bulger, again.
Bulger suffered a concussion in a 24-19 loss to Seattle on Sunday, and coach Scott Linehan was uncertain whether the quarterback would be available for next week's game against Atlanta.
Bulger, who missed two games earlier this season with broken ribs, left after making a shovel pass midway through the first quarter. Linehan said Bulger was initially hurt on the Rams' first possession on a blindside sack by Leroy Hill.
``He didn't seem quite right on the sidelines,'' Linehan said. ``We talked a little bit, and I could tell by looking at him right when he walked off that something was different. He mentioned that he didn't feel good, and that is a big concern. He said he was starting to feel nauseous.''
Bulger was among several players injured Sunday. Rams center Brett Romberg left in the first quarter with an ankle injury and didn't return; and linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa left in the third quarter with a sprained left knee and will have an MRI Monday.
Seattle wide receiver D.J. Hackett hurt his right ankle in the third quarter and coach Mike Holmgren wasn't sure when he would return.
Chicago running back Cedric Benson was carted off the field after injuring his left ankle at the end of a 21-yard run early in the second quarter of the Bears' 37-34 overtime victory over Denver.
``Whenever you don't finish the game, of course, that's not good,'' coach Lovie Smith said. ``He has a pretty good ankle injury.''
Benson, who carried eight times for 47 yards, was hurt as he landed while being tackled by Denver's Hamza Abdullah with 12:52 left in the first half. Benson stayed down on the field for several minutes before being carted away.
Tampa Bay lost quarterback Jeff Garcia to a back injury early in the Buccaneers' 19-13 win over Washington. He was hurt on the first play and left the field two plays later and remained on the sideline until early in the fourth quarter.
Garcia was shaken up when he scrambled for a 1-yard gain and was tackled by Washington defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin. He returned with just over 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
The New York Giants had a few key players hurt, including cornerback Aaron Ross, who was in and out in the second half with a hamstring injury. Offensive tackle Kareem McKenzie and middle linebacker Antonio Pierce injured ankles.
Minnesota backup safety Tank Williams (knee) and starting wide receiver Troy Williamson (blow to the head) left the 41-17 win over the Giants and will be evaluated Monday.
The Vikings were already without halfback Adrian Peterson (knee) and cornerback Antoine Winfield (hamstring), who were both inactive. The Giants' top two halfbacks, Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) and Derrick Ward (ankle, groin) were inactive, also didn't play.
Other players injured Sunday included: Tennessee safety Chris Hope (concussion); Buffalo linebacker Coy Wire (neck), right tackle Langston Walker (elbow) and defensive end Chris Kelsay (ankle); and Jacksonville tight ends George Wrighster (right knee) and Greg Estandia (shoulder).
Carolina quarterback Vinny Testaverde was inactive against New Orleans, a day after he woke up with a stiff back. The Panthers were also without cornerback Chris Gamble, who broke his right thumb in last Sunday's loss to Green Bay.
Tennessee defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth missed his third straight game because of a hamstring injury, while right guard Benji Olson also was out for a second straight week with a back injury.
