EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -Brett Favre would like to see a smaller playbook.
The 41-year-old quarterback says he thinks NFL coaches make the game too complicated. He said it’s easier to run the offense when players can focus on a smaller sample of plays that they’re good at and keep working on those.
Interim Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says he welcomes Favre’s input “wholeheartedly.”
Frazier’s first day in charge of practice was Wednesday, and he predicted some tweaks to the offense for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins, without being specific.
Favre says he’s fully committed to finishing the season and that he hopes his body will hold up for all six games that remain.
