INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has turned the page on Sunday’s late interception at New England.
The four-time league MVP would rather focus on something he can control – beating San Diego this weekend.
Manning insists it was his mistake that cost Indianapolis a shot at either a field goal to force overtime against the Patriots or a chance to win it with a last-minute touchdown. But that’s not what he’s thinking about this week.
He has to figure out how to win the expected shootout with the AFC’s top rated quarterback, Philip Rivers.
Manning got his first NFL win against the Chargers in 1998 but has gone just 3-4 against San Diego since then.
